The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular holiday destinations, and the property market continues to flourish.
The region attracts millions of visitors each year, especially to the south coast for its climate and leisure facilities.
Long-term investors are best-placed to make the best returns, however, as the area is unsuited to short-term investment.
Golf courses, coastal hiking, shopping and restaurants are just some of the attractions for tourists, who boost rental incomes for landlords throughout the region.
Last year, Spanish property brought investors an average of 10.8% capital gain, and the market is likely to be stable for the foreseeable future.
